Hey y’all, I’m back! It’s been a minute since I’ve posted on here, but it’s not that I haven’t been writing. I’ve been working really intensely on a scene that I previewed here a while ago, called “Office Space“, which is now going through 2nd and 3rd draft phases. I’m really excited about that piece, and I’m hoping to get it to the point where I can send it into 10 minute play competitions. But, while I’m waiting for some feedback on that piece, I wanted to get working on this one again! I haven’t touched TKoDM for a few months (maybe only a month, I’m not checking) so it felt good to take another crack at it. I felt pretty solid about the beginning, only making small changes, but I hit the first part that I felt needed some serious rewriting and I treated it as a fresh start. I’ve labeled this Scene X.1, because I’m not sure how it fits in with the 3 act structure I originally had for the play. I’m just writing freely at the moment, and I don’t feel the need for it to fit nicely into acts or parts for the time being, which feels good.
